Call for Auditions, 2012 Toronto Fringe!

Hello one and all,

I write today to inform you of an open audition call.

As you may remember, we were so lucky to attain a spot in this year’s coming Toronto Fringe, from July 4th to the 15th.

I can finally, and proudly announce the play we are putting on will be our very own Peter Counter’s Vic Harbour. It is set in a rural, harbour village on Lake Huron and we are looking to cast three characters:

JIMMY (17 – early 20s)

ALICE (17 – early 20s)

FRANK (50+)

*UPDATED*03/02/12* From the playwright, Peter Counter:

Ever since Charlie Golding died Victoria Harbour has been cursed. The man was responsible for making the town into the Lake Huron tourist destination it is, but they say it was his ghost that froze the lake, destroyed the marina, and left his brother Frank to go crazy in the town lighthouse. Now no one comes to Vic Habour, and the lights go out when you swear. In this empty post-war town, in the middle of nowhere, Alice Shelley and Jimmy Jones must come together to confront their own demons, and with the help of old Frank Golding, discover what it means to live in a beautiful place that can’t be forgotten, since no one knows it’s there.
